What is your typical or ideal girl next door? Is she smart, with a silly sense of humor? The one that can go play football with you and your buds (and kick your ever-lovin' asses) and then turn around and wear the heels out to dinner. The one you can have a serious political debate and then turn it around its about which superhero is better? Is she the one that will email you just because you were on her mind. Is she the one that sings to the radio, even if shes bad at it? The one that makes you dinner and takes care of you when your sick? Is she the type that won't take sh** from you and stands up for what she believes in? Is she happy being herself?
If so then you've found your girl next door. I am all that and much more.
I am new to New York. I am from Michigan.
I am a full time student at Elmira College with a double major (Possibly working on a third major) and double minor (English Lit and Poli Sci with minors in Theater and Business). I work as an IT Consultant, and trying to get a second job.
I am a published author, so simply put I LOVE the written word. I am constantly writing or at least doing something that involves me either writing or drawing.
I am a full time nanny during the summer. I love kids...sorry if there is a little kid at the resturant I might pay attention to it a little more than you...sorry.
I love music...which is a big thing for me the guy and I have to agree on at least a cd full. I always have the radio on or something similar
I am very open about myself. I have a bad habit of speaking my mind. I am brutally honest.
I am intelligent and I know it. I also have a very sarcastic wit, so if you cant take the heat get the hell outta the kitchen
I have been told I am funny...but I dont know whether or not that is because my jokes are actually humorous or the fact that I trip over thin air....hmmm...thats a question I'll never know the answer to
I like to argue, but not so much that it causes friction. I just like to challenge and be challenged.
I love to learn new things. I am constantly aware of my surroundings, I will read everything. Ask lots of questions. I want to know everything that I possibly can.
I am open to almost anything from friendships to a full blown relationships...I've had my heartbroken one too many times but well when you fall of the horse just jump back on.
I am very talkative...and can keep a convo going for any length of time...but I know when to keep my mouth shut and end it.
I take my responsibilites seriously. I have a neice and a nephew who I love more than anything else.
I also change my hair color.
I'm pierced and tattooed and I love it.

Ok, I guess I should put what I am looking for. I am looking for someone who is smart not just book smart but street smart, the one who knows what a crankshaft is and who Oscar Wilde is. Someone who can make me laugh, any kind of humor is welcome, dry, sarcastic, perverse, I have an easy sense of humor. Creativity is a MUST!Someone who is aware of their surroundings and determined. Having goals is a huge turn on, even if they are as simple as making sure that they have their term paper in by next Friday. Finally someone who is just as much of a dork as I am.
Ok looks wise I really dont care but I do have preferences, 5'5-5'8ft I know its strange but I like my guy to be about my height.
