In search of my other half
I am posting this ad looking for an honest woman to reply so I am going to be completely honest in this ad.....
Ok so, who am I?
I am 37yrs old who is originally from Chicago. I have been marred twice. I have 3 beautiful kids, 2 girls 4 & 5, and my son who is 10. I am very close with my kids and see them all the time. I'm a great father and strive to be the best father a child can ask for :-) I love all children so I encourage women with children to apply as well.
I work a full time job at a college and enjoy my job to the fullest extent. Although in April, I'm planning to go back to college to pursue in a degree that is becoming a passion of mine. That will keep me busy as well and yet I know that a college degree will allow me to take my life to a whole new level.
About myself, I'm 5'9" and 180lbs. (I don't know why guys add the weight part, we just seem to) I carry an athletic build as I'm in the gym 5 days a week...before work. I don't smoke and socially drink.
I am easy going, extroverted at times, fun to be with and the best of friends. I can be a funny person and don’t mind laughing at myself as long as it’s funny (most of the time it is) :) I am very loving, caring, passionate and giving. Yes I am the complete package and yes ladies men like this truly do exist. By nature I tend to put your thoughts and feelings before mine. I am very personable, and easy to talk and open up to. I am a great listener and know the difference between listening because you need to “vent” and listening because you want/need advice.
I love to cook. I spent some time working as a chef and I enjoy making meals from scratch. I have many talents which run in wide variety. I have interesting stories of my history which include doing things from Street racing motorcycles to climbing and the fun times I spend with my kids.
I will leave off from here about me now I’m sure you are asking yourself “Who am I looking for?”
So without further ado:
I am looking for my best friend the one who I can cherish and will cherish me as well. A person who will is ready to find the one person who can complete them and make them whole. I’m looking for a confident woman who is ready to settle down and commit to a life with her best friend and soul mate.
I also am looking for a woman who will not be jealous of other women who are in my life. I have several friends who are female and are my best friends. I want a woman who can be confident and not worry about the other women in my life. When we are together you are my main priority and you have nothing to be concerned about.
I’m not necessarily looking for a Barbie doll. I’m looking for what’s within. So with that said, your height, weight and hair color are not that important. Yes I prefer someone who takes care of themselves.(Bathes regularly, dresses appropriately, ect) For me, being physically attractive is a combination of looks and personality.
Like many of us, I too have my life-challenges and yet still manage to wear a smile and find something to laugh about. You don't need to be a "gym buff" and yet someone who is open to being physically active is a plus. Also I prefer someone who is not mentally unstable in anyway.
When it comes to age it is not important. I would like to stay in the age range of 26 to 40 years of age. Most important to me, is being able to relate and connect with the person I’m investing myself into.
I'm looking for someone whom I can become the best of friends with and share my life with them at the same time. The person I’m looking for doesn’t need to “go out” to have a good time. This person can look at the “perfect night out” as dinner at home and the two of us cuddling up to a movie. I enjoy making home-cooked meals and doing anything from playing a board game as a family, to have a 'date night' and going out as adults.
Going out is nice, I’m just not into living a life where it is a constant part of my life. I want to be able to enjoy my partner in a quiet setting.
