Who I Am:

Young thinking (though capable of maturity) Real Estate Broker/Licensed in MI, seeking the next chapter of my life.
Have tried this (on line meetings) before, briefly, somewhat skeptical. Fully aware that this is difficult, so if you contact me, I will respond..bit of a bad experience w/ this in MI... What is the worst that can happen...you have a new friend? (OK, it isn't the worst that could happen, but...). Joking!
I am divorced and have been for some time, and as that old song by the Rascals said "..I've been lonely too long." I socialize, but haven't dated a great deal (OK, I confess I am a former victim of "Florence Nightengale Syndrome"). I forgot to mention, I have a warped sense of humor, particularly when it comes to myself. Probably should mention, a little old fashioned, "girls don't call boys first..." (old habits die hard...my parents were brutal about protocol)...you contact me..
Although, I was in the medical field for 20 years, I have been a Real Estate Broker, and have done consulting jobs since '94. I am rethinking what I want to do with my career for next few years. I have one married and wonderful daughter and one grandson. Recently moved to Florida and have taken a position w/ a company here. Not in sales at the time.
Though I am sports and hand/eye coordination skills handicapped, I do love long walks, hiking, water and sun. weather permitting (in MI) I try to do at least 3-4 miles 4 times a week. I love plants, gardening, cooking, and music. I really like to dance, and I am pretty good with computers and such. I thoroughly enjoy taking care of a home, making dinners, and caring for someone (though, I haven't had much practice lately-see below).
As I mentioned earlier, as a former victim of "Florence Nightengale Syndrome" I really have little tolerance for immature (if I wanted to go out with kids, I'd bring my own...better behaved), selfish, "it's all about me" type people. A sense of humor is a must for me. I am a romantic, though I don't let many people see it, and I am relatively versatile. I am just as comfortable in cut offs and a T-shirt as heels and dress clothes.
In conclusion, I am at a stage in my life, where I had considered moving and did, updating my Broker's license to Florida, or just being a secretary so that I can focus on being happy for the rest of my life, and not focusing on a career. Who knows?
On a note of "great importance" to most people..yes I do smoke, yes I do know I should quit, and I will when I am ready...but I like to leave a thought about this subject: Smoking is a bad habit, bad habits can be broken...unlike bad character traits...which are to the bone!
Oh, I forgot..what I like in a guy: I like at least 5'10" because I am 5'6" and I do like to wear high heels now and then. Not particularly attracted to really thin people who are obsessive about their size. I like confident, but not overbearing, romantic or sensitive side even if it isn't readily apparent, and if you haven't grown up by now...you aren't going to, so I am not interested. I would prefer you send a picture, unless you have a good reason why you can't (i.e. an escaped convict, you're wanted in 3 countries, etc.).

Thought I covered most of this in my description, but for a "snapshot:"
(1) 5'11 or above (the high heel thing)
(2) Sanity or relatively stable mental health (always a positive)
(3) Not immature or with strong jealousy tendencies, or who isn't finished playing the field (some one seeking a long term relationship)
(4) Likes doing things "outdoors," not a couch potato
Fairly open to most other options.
