Who I Am:

Gotta make it count! This life, I mean. I've spent a lifetime gathering the puzzle pieces and finally I have enough fit together that a clear picture has emerged. What an exciting, intense awakening. I walked away from corporate America a few years ago, and began a tumultuous journey towards living simply and authentically. I am a writer, though non-published to date. I sense God and hear my wisest self most easily among nature's tapestry. I adore my 2 small dogs, spend much of my time reading/writing about spiritual matters and empowering principles and trying to stay in touch with the truth of being a spiritual being having a human experience. I believe life is not just about finding yourself, but about creating yourself and the life you want through the power of your mind. Easier said than done of course! I have been in a sort of limbo these past few years as I became sort of an introvert, (not my truest nature!), spending much needed time in solitude, (having my mid-life crisis!), discovering who I was, what I want and don’t want my life to be about. The rewards have been priceless. And I am finished! I am ready to let someone in again. I am ready for a new life. I am ready to have a lover who is my best friend, and has the same sensibilities as I do. And I will relocate in a heartbeat for the right woman.

I'm very compassionate, outgoing, witty, have an adventurous spirit and love to laugh and be silly but also thrive on dwelling on the meaning of it all, and the why's and how's of most anything. That must be why my favorite TV channels are Discovery, TLC, HGTV and the History channel! I am a Gemini which equals several woman rolled into one. I have many moods, interests, and facets; fortunately they are all good-natured except the PMS one! I am a philosopher, flower-child, die-hard romantic. I feel as if I finally know who I truly am, inside and out. And I am finally really ok with me. *Whew... wasn't an easy road, I tell ya. But the view from here is tremendous! I love gardening, rocks and trees, thunder and lightning, knowledge, wisdom and books, many types of music, slow-dancing, God and all of His majestic creations. (I am not religious in the most traditional sense though). I enjoy storm-chasing, rock-hunting, nature photography, meditation, calm environments, earthy things, positive people, home-improvement, conscious-raising, learning from others, bird-watching, making others laugh and feel good, being thoughtful and non-judgmental. I try to stay positive and upbeat, stay reverent, and find pleasure in the smallest of things. So, if any of this piques your interest, please drop me a note. I look forward to it.
