I've fairly recently discovered I'm attracted to women, and I'm in dire need of meeting new people! Am new to all this (all this meaning online dating as well as looking to date women) so bear with me on this one... I've been to the local gay scene and it scared me off pretty quick, plus I can't stand clubs anyway, so there you are. I do like to go out for a drink though, only not somewhere you have to shout over loud music to have a conversation. Can come across very quiet in groups but fine on a one-to-one basis. Just a lil shy, you see... Tend to prefer meaningful conversations over superficial banter, but I like having light-hearted conversations as well, don't get me wrong. I'm a pretty independent person. I enjoy reading, staying in, but also going out to concerts, cinema, theatre, eating out etc.

The most important thing is your personality, appearance and other things, although important, are secondary. However, some traits are more likely to make me run a mile, for example someone very bossy or on a friendship basis, people who need 15 other people to do anything or go anywhere. On a romantic basis, smoking tends to turn me off real quick. Generally I like people who are honest, not unduly secretive, who talk easily, don't play mind games and are independent, but not too fiercely so.
