Who I Am:

It's about 10:00 at night,and I find that the desire for companionship great. A pleasurable look; a quiet smile; the softest of touches; the magic in these most simple of things does my heart desire.
I find that of lately my soul calls out for the true contentment that it has long searched for, but never found. Early in my life, I felt the same call, but mistook it for a calling for all brave souls to seek great adventures. Thus I set out on the road of life with my head held high, and a musical spring in my step.
Alas, the road of life actually consists of many different roads, and being the adventurous one that I am; I took the most exciting and untraveled road that I could find. It started out as a wonderous journey full of new and exciting things. There were plenty of smiles and no end to the music of joyfull laughter. Eventually though, the road that I traveled led deep into the heart of the forest of lost souls. I was innocent at heart and had no defense for the beings that I encountered there. My soul lost its way and became snared in the grip of all that is wicked and evil in the world. Many were the nights that I cried out in anguish and despare. For so long did I witness the deepest of human misery and hate. For so long did I beg for death to compasionatly rescue me from hell. But death paid me no mind.
It was a winter morning when I awoke to silence...silence that I had not heard in oh so long. I opened my eyes only to snap them shut as the welcoming warmth of the morning sun kissed my eyelids. How can this be? I asked myself. Am I dead? I got no reply, but slowly opening my eyes, realization set in; my soul was lost no more.
I stood, up and seeing the road before me for once unshadowed and open, I stepped forward...
