Who I Am:

I live in Weston-Super-Mare. I have two grown up sons and two cats. I am training to be a CAB adviser as I enjoy helping people in a practical way. I have a good sense of humour and am good company. I like playing scrabble, cooking (and eating), dancing, films, going to the theatre, writing and have many and varied interests. i have a few hobbies like glass painting and enjoy visiting places of interest. I like all sorts of music except garage,trance, those sorts. Recently I've been listening to the Stranglers, T-rex, Kooks, Gorillaz but also Art Garfunkel and Jack Johnson. On tv I like documentaries and programmes that leave me feeling like I've learned something. Having said that I do catch the occasional Eastenders - being from Bethnal Green in East London originally, and Coronation Street (no connection there!). Okay, alright, so I like a couple of soaps. Bubblegum for the brain. I like walking along the beach which I live near and am trying to break into a jog as since giving up smoking I am devouring humbugs and sweets by the doz, although I am gradually introducing real fruit into the equasion. I'd like to get into some sort of sport but don't know which really - perhaps you could help. I gave up drinking over a year ago for health reasons and now have managed to put down the dreaded weed and have been smokeless for over a month now. Its okay if you smoke and drink as long as youre not a heavy or problem drinker. The photo is of me last summer. I am endeavouring to get a new one up there. I'm looking for someone with a good sense of humour, romantic, who has similar interests or maybe not, as sometimes opposites attract and/or can add to my interests and enhance my life as I could his. I don't mind a smoker or drinker as long as you are not a heavy or problem drinker. Someone who's not afraid to get up and dance at the disco or functions. Who maybe can waltz a little (my dad taught me years ago) although this isn't a major factor. A good talker and a good listener.
