Who I Am:
|
My life is wonderfully rich on many levels, I find it a
challenge to summarize briefly. I am a sensitive,
well-educated person; deeply committed to my
wonderful 7 year old daughter. I share special and
lasting bonds with my family and friends. My
professional work at the university is also very
rewarding (I research and author articles on the
quality of life of persons faced with various health
concerns).
My friends describe me as; Curious, sensitive,
adventurous, intelligent, knowledgeable, talkative,
intuitive, generous, trusting, analytical, and
responsible. These characteristics shine more
brightly in some relationships than others, with
each relationship offering new opportunities to
deepen self-awareness. For example, have recently
becoming more mindful to bring my analytic
aspects into better balance with my heart
consciousness ?Ea common occupational hazard
among academics?
I am very at home in nature (both on land and at
sea) - being a part of Our Earth grounds and
centers me. Some outdoor adventures I enjoy are;
sailing in the marine sanctuaries of the Channel
Islands, scootering in the high deserts of SoCal, and
backcountry hiking to wilderness hot springs with
friends. Physical fitness is important to safe and fun
outdoor adventures.

life *and* loves long philosophical and spiritual

My partner will be concerned the well-being of

developed sensuality, and enjoy long conversation
about the meaning of life, and believe spirituality is
an unfolding of one’s inner being.

and thoughts together will become a balanced
expression of what is most important in our lives.

and purposes of our being on earth. The
celebration of our love for each other and our
grounding in the natural world will occur through
many playful adventures. Hard times will cause us
to grow deeper in connected awareness, while our
joy will touch those around us. We will find comfort
