Who I Am:

Enigmatic mermaid with quiet, gentle ways, lights up to pompom girl enthusiasm when she dances. Loves gardens, flowers, mountains, pure water, sacred spaces, long walks, relaxation yoga, sitting at the base of trees, and lying on the ground looking out to the stars above. Easily intoxicated by exotic fruit, summer fruit, salads, soft sheets, the sounds of nature, anything sensual, and, most of all, by the company of heart-centered souls of various nationalities and ages.
Interests: spiritual growth and awareness, the concept of oneness and our connectedness, sustainable economies, affordable housing, WATER, emotional and physical well-being, living and working with indigenous peoples, travelling to far flung locations... particularly love Oman, Oaxaca, Sante Fe N.M., and the high Yemen.
Working on manifesting a trip to Chile with intention to be a part of a peaceful movement to protect remaining glaciers or the lives of families who've depended upon the glaciers for survival. Have you seen the movie CHOCOLAT? I have a lot in common with the Juliette Binoche character.

At home wearing ball gowns, and with diplomats and other dignitaries (multi-lingual); yet remarkably at home on ranchitos, working with migrant farm workers, doing laundry, or reading in bed.
Favorite love stories: Lady Jane Digby and Sheikh El-Mezrab, Aimee du Bucq de Rivery and Selim III, Bolivar and Manuela Saenz.
Spiritual mentors: amazing loving parents who ascended far too early, extraordinary friends and siblings, the Dalai Lama, Wayne Muller, Carolyn Myss, Khenpo Dorjee (a Tibetan monk who lives in Katmandu), Thich Nat Han.
Flexible, curious, adventurous.
My moon is in earth as are most of my other houses. Earth may indicate something about my nature, or as a lovely friend once said, "you are resilient as an orchid". This may or may not be true, but I am devoted to building for the long term, as well as to high ideals. I come through during crisis, usually displaying serenity.
Love to laugh until my cheeks hurt, love being silly and free. Sometimes quite whimsical. Definitely warm and friendly.
