Who I Am:

I'm an ethical vegan who has a soft spot for non-human beings in particular, but still have hope for humanity. I adore children probably because they're so honest - so uncorrupt.
I'm pretty outspoken, independent and assertive, and don't have a problem going after exactly what I want.
I'm smart, have a good sense of humor, am compassionate, passionate and prefer not to hide my feelings with those I'm close to. You will always know where you stand with me.
I work out regularly. I enjoy long walks or hikes with my pup. I have fostered (mostly dogs) through local rescue groups.
I enjoy most cuisines and am a garlic fiend. As long as it's vegan, I'm good with it.
My taste in music varies (Pink Floyd, Ashley MacIsaac, Maria Callas), but can't say I'm a big fan of rap or most country. I consider myself to be a culture "junkie" - I want to see it all. Travel destinations for the future are: India, Thailand, The Galapagos Islands, Holland (hell, why not all of Europe!), Russia, and one day possibly Iraq. Locally, the Olympic National Forest is possibly one of the more beautiful places on earth. I am awe-struck by most things natural, and an eagle in flight can bring me to tears. I am possibly the unusual Northwesterner in that I enjoy the rain, and the sound of it tapping against a window is beautiful to me.
I'm a voracious reader who reads herself to sleep most nights. I don't really have favorite authors, I just like learning new things or escaping into fantasy.
I'm extremely tactile and love to cuddle. I will spoil the right man rotten.

You love and want to care for those who can't speak for themselves as much as I do. You are a nature lover and won't mind getting muddy and wet on a hike deep in the mountains with me and my pup.
