Who I Am:

I'll probably re-write this later when I have time to actually think on it...but here's some off the cuff stuff:
A refugee from the Garden State (that's NJ) who is currently living in rural Virginia. I love to travel, read, see movies, and laugh. I love Sci-Fi television and my current favorites are Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and I'm mildly interested in Enterprise. I am a big old-school fan of The X-Files, Red Dwarf, Farscape, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Ok, I'm not just a geek. I'm an amateur potter (I'm planning to get back into it next year) and a sometimes writer and poet. One of my hobbies is designing personal websites -- I'm decent with the HTML, time to move on to PHP and stuff. I like most kinds of music, varied types of films, and I love trying new ethnic foods (as long as there are no dead critters that walked on land in it).
I'm very close to my family, which is how I got to living here. I'm quiet and shy until I get to know you...then watch out!

I'm looking for a nice guy with an exceptional sense of humor. I tend to like slightly younger men more, but I've been known to date guys older than me...so that's not set in stone. As long as you aren't young enough to be my child or old enough to be my grandfather, it's all good.
I am totally not interested in smokers. I could not be less interested! Please, if you smoke, don't bother with me. This IS set in stone!
I would like someone reasonably close to me geographically. I've tried long-distance relationships before and they STINK.
Hey, if you worshipped the ground I walk on, that would be cool...KIDDING! As long as you're kind, respectful, and just a teensie bit funny, we should get along great.
