Who I Am:

Well, I have a eight year old daughter, 2 cats, and 2 dogs. My life seems to revolve around my daughter and work (though work isn't by choice). I'm divorced. I sometimes read fantasy and sci-fi, though I'm more likely to rent the movie, at least lately anyway. I play cards on my computer quite a bit. But basically, I have no life and am beginning to feel a little like the little old lady in her shoe, except the pet version. I'm a bit serious, a bit silly... not real easy to put on paper. I have a background in the arts... some art and theatre. I volunteer at the local ESL class; my students are Mexican. I'm getting better at understanding a little of what they say in Spanish. I would really like to be able to speak fluently someday.

I'm looking for a decent guy who's "okay" looking. I don't mind some extra weight, within reason. Ummm... if your bank account overdraws every week/ every other week, uhh... no thanks. I want someone who's a good guy... won't cheat on me, put me in debt, etc. I'm mostly looking for someone who is close to where I live.
By the way, you should always be cautious on these online dating centers; there are people around who just want your money. One of the biggest schemes is that they send you a fake check and ask for some of the money to be sent back to them. Since it's fake, you're out whatever you send them.
